Senior Manager, National Strategic Accounts

Role:

The National Strategic Accounts group is responsible for maintaining and expanding the business relationships with large, institutional clients that have a national/regional presence.  This will include, but not be limited to TAMPs, National RIAs, Aggregator/roll-ups and strategic partners to TD Ameritrade Institutional.  This role will be responsible for assisting the sales team in the development and expansion of net new assets and client growth for the Institutional business unit by directing and participating in the growth and retention of the advisor client segment and the attainment of group sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand and anticipate advisors’ existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within the organization
  • Develop joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to the advisor and TD Ameritrade
  • Build and manage internal/external relationships involving all stakeholders and influential parties
  • Communicate strategy and direction effectively across the team, both within TD Ameritrade and advisor’s organization
  • Retains overall responsibility for the profit, loss and growth achieved by the advisor
  • Responsible for setting and delivering key business metrics

Requirements:

  • Seven or more years’ experience in financial sales, marketing, client/account management or sales management within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of advisory business, custodial service platforms and financial planning a must
  • Series 7/63 Required
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing or equivalent field is required
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
