Role:

This position is dedicated to the onboarding of new Advisors.  Handle the onboarding phase of new Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) relationships that are transitioning their business to TD Ameritrade Institutional.  Onsite training at the new RIA firms’ office for all of the firms’ associates on the value, benefits and features of TD Ameritrade Institutional products, services, and technology.  In office paperwork reviews for completion and accuracy in order to reduce Not In Good Order (NIGO) items and minimize calls to the Business Transition Service (BTS) cell and improve the RIA and their clients’ first experience with TD Ameritrade Institutional.  Present at workshops and prospecting meetings and at the TD Ameritrade Institutional National Conference. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct due diligence into the Advisor’s business to identify their structure, training needs, timing for the review of bulk applications and implement a strategy and plan of execution in collaboration with internal business partners such as Sales, BTS and Regional Service Cells (RSC) 
  • Create and deliver customized demonstrations that link the value of the TD Ameritrade Institutional technology and service offering back to the prospects and client’s critical business and transition issues
  • Educate Advisors on the features and benefits of TD Ameritrade Institutional technology and operations best practices through effective communication, public speaking and have a deep knowledge of the RIA, financial services industry and TD Ameritrade Institutional
  • Present to an RIA’s staff on the TD Ameritrade Institutional technology and operations best practices.  The size of the audiences will vary from several individuals to larger audiences of 50-100
  • Facilitate and present in group demonstrations via WebEx, and workshops, in order to help Advisors maximize their use of TD Ameritrade technology offerings

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal and presentation skills required
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of TD Ameritrade Institutional technology
  • 5 to 7 years related and total experience
  • Series 7
  • Series 63
  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
