This position will work closely with Supply Management Category leaders to develop, coordinate and support key initiatives with an end focus of delivering better value sourcing to TD Ameritrade.  Primary duties will be to coordinate, execute and update Sourcing’s multi-level communication plan, develop internal and external tools to support our strategy, serve as support to system administrator and subject matter expert on system tools (such as Oracle) and provide internal support on other sourcing-related tasks as defined by Supply Management leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Will support Management and Sr. Analysts in the creation of new Sourcing intranet presence and capabilities (standardized presentation materials that are tiered based on audience
  • Support and help coordinate all outreach activities, from personal group appearances by Sourcing leadership to enhancement of our feedback loop mechanism – all of this with the customer’s needs/viewpoints in mind.  This may also include Sourcing presence at business unit staff meetings and Town Halls.  
  • Support category management executed by Category Management team by managing key suppliers, negotiation effective deals, and supporting business initiatives
  • Utilize educational tools such as quick reference guides for stakeholders to educate business partners
  • Produce and enhance RFP Templates, Term Sheets, Vendor Qualification Statements, etc. in support of Sourcing operations  as directed by the Category Managers
  • Produce and facilitate supplier evaluation process
  • Work with Director, Sourcing and Records in support of this major initiative by utilizing current analytics to arrive at solutions, making suggestions to improve analytics and identifying information important to business stakeholders
  • Use current knowledge of supply management systems and build knowledge in this area to help to determine appropriate solutions for the firm
  • Liaise with technology, business partners and Sourcing in the pursuit of “better” with regard to Sourcing tools, as well as communicating/training when appropriate
  • Drive enhancement / upgrade testing
  • Support the maintenance of relationships with business stakeholders and suppliers
  • Liaise with Central Procurement to ensure CP service levels are met
  • Perform ICAP testing and assist with requirements related to audits and exams
  • Provide additional support to Sourcing analysts, including monitoring expiring contracts, performing vendor due diligence, software/hardware maintenance

Requirements:

  • 2 year degree required Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related degree area
  • 1-2 years related experience with 3-4 years of total experience
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to incorporate priorities/viewpoint of our stakeholders in providing communication solutions 
  • Experience with e-Sourcing tools; Oracle experience preferred
  • Attention to detail coupled with an understanding of deadlines and priorities
  • Strong desire to learn and ability to dive into details
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
