Role:

The SRM Manager will be responsible for managing an internal institutional sales team of up to 5 people.  The team will be responsible for client retention and NNA for 1200 Institutional clients, $5B in NNA and $120M in revenue

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures associates are hitting productivity and activity targets that help drive NNA and revenue to TDA
  • Reviews and approves all pricing proposals to ensure that all sales deals are profitable to TDA
  • Provide feedback to senior management and product development teams based on voice of the client interactions and industry competition
  • Insures retention of existing business by monitoring immediate flight risk situations as well as driving succession planning discussions, tools, and resources to associates to address long term AUM risk.
  • Weekly coaching on sales best practices and client engagement strategies with each individual sales person
  • Model the SRM mission to associates and provide them with macro level insights on trends and opportunities they can leverage to boost client engagement.
  • Create and review quarterly evaluations with team members focusing on continuous improvements
  • Manage progressive discipline process including employee separation
  • Manage recruiting and hiring process including working with HR SRM to source and post the job, all screening and interviewing  and the final hiring decision
  • Managing team activity on a weekly basis
  • Establishes and adheres to written supervisory and desktop procedures.
  • Ensures that all inbound and outbound correspondence is properly reviewed and approved.
  • Ensures that we are adhering to the firm’s AML, gift and entertainment, compliant handling, and client identification policies.
  • Conducts QSARs to ensure appropriate associate system access based on role.
  • Provides supervision to licensed and unlicensed associates.
  • Designs heightened supervision plans as needed.
  • Keeps associates informed about the health and direction of TDA, and TDAI Sales teams
  • Gathers associate feedback on TDA work environment and drives associate engagement through action planning committees.
  • Creates and lead a positive working environment that promotes; TDA’s core values, a diverse and inclusive environment, our continuous improvement culture, empowers employees.

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Ability to lead a group of multiple teams of associates in meeting critical time and quality metrics on a daily basis
  • Strong decision-making, judgment, problem-solving, analysis, project management skills required 
  • Ability to translate strategy into tactical plans that can be easily executed by multiple teams in a consistent manner
  • Experience leading customer-driven initiatives including analytics, issue identification and resolution, and design of improvements and enhancements. 
  • Superior leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members, both on an individual and team level, with regards to achievement of corporate, business unit and personal goals
  • Ability to provide honest and constructive feedback regarding associate performance, focusing on the client experience, and achievement of personal, professional and company goals
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills 
  • Extremely organized with an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Outstanding communication, listening and analytical skills
  • Present a positive, professional image
  • Ability to influence, collaborate with and connect to business partners of all levels
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
  • Series 7 and 63 or 66 required
