Strategic Planning and Executive Insight Senior Specialist

Role:

This Sr. Specialist role will provide support for the department’s Chief of Staff responsibilities, strategic planning functions, and voice of client initiatives in addition to delivering executive-level insights on a recurring and ad hoc basis.  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cross-functional consistency to the department by bringing a holistic view of all Chief of Staff activities
  • Support presentation development for Institutional MDs to use in various settings (town halls, department meetings, etc.)
  • Under the direction of Sr. Mgr., Inst Executive Insights, build portions of business cases and presentations to the CEO, CFO other SOC members, and Institutional Senior Leadership
  • Work independently to research current business challenges that identify the root cause and provide potential solutions to help inform Institutional leadership in making strategic business decisions
  • Assist with the development and execution of various planning activities for Institutional throughout the fiscal year (off-sites, roadmaps, etc.)
  • Help facilitate the development and reporting of scorecards at a top-of-the-house Institutional level
  • Partner with the Planning & Executive Insights team and Finance throughout the planning process
  • Gather select metrics in order to produce recurring executive reporting, while interpreting them appropriately to provide the right commentary and story
  • Synthesize large quantities of information, identify trends and potential blind spots, and communicate insights in a clear and cohesive manner
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies across the department’s various recurring reporting responsibilities and implement improvements
  • Assist with the preparation and development of Advisor Panel and Client Experience Panel meetings (agenda, master meeting presentation, communications to advisors, logistics, etc.)
  • Develop post-meeting debriefs to capture insights and themes from each panel meeting to inform Institutional Senior Leadership and the overall strategic plan

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Proven ability to juggle incoming work from multiple sources, prioritize and execute accordingly. 
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and complex information into simple, easy to understand messages via reporting and PowerPoint communications
  • Demonstrate autonomy in researching and interpreting business results and trends
  • Attention to and appreciation for detail with proven ability to manage several work streams/projects concurrently and deliver high quality outputs within short timeframes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve results by working with others effectively
  • Effective self-starter with an aptitude for creative solutions and driving change
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the financial services industry and interest in the wealth management space
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with using Tableau a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
